Anna Kiraly

July 30, 1936 – October 5, 2006

Originally from Amherstburg, Ontario, Anna Mae Kiraly went to school in Windsor to become a Registered Nurse and was employed by Detroit Receiving Hospital as a critical care nurse for more than 40 years.  Kiraly lived in and around Metro Detroit, including Warren, Farmington, and Sterling Heights.  She was survived by Judith Cook, her partner of 24 years.

Robert Quann Jr.

Farmington resident Robert Edwin Quann Jr. attended Wayne Memorial High School, studied at Miss Katie’s College of Beauty in Canton, and worked as a hairstylist.  In 2012, he became a member of the Metropolitan Community Church of Detroit.

Alan Redner

August 25, 1948 – January 19, 1993

A graduate of Farmington High School, Alan Redner was deployed to Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War, received a Bronze Star for his service, and rose to the rank of captain with the Michigan National Guard.  Employed with Estate Motors in Birmingham and later with BMW, Redner was also active with the Association of Suburban People.  He died from AIDS-related complications at age 44.
