Thomas Gamble earned his B.A. from Oakland University and his M.S. from Michigan State University before moving to San Francisco here he worked in health care. He died from AIDS-related complications at age 46.

Mary Beth Dietz earned a B.A. in English from Michigan State University and taught English in Wisconsin before returning to school to become a chiropractor. She and LeAnne Ray became the first same-sex couple married in Michigan City, Indiana.

Gregory Kamm

Gregory Kamm helped found the Gay Liberation Front at Western Michigan University in 1971 and later served as secretary for the Gay Liberation Movement at Michigan State University.
Anne Tracy

Anne Tracy was bibliographer with Special Collections in the Michigan State University Libraries, responsible for amassing one of the finest collections of LGBTQ materials in the Midwest.
Anthony Welsh
August 3, 1958 – August 14, 1996
Dr. Anthony Welsh, a Dearborn Heights native and graduate of Michigan State University, established an HIV education speaker’s bureau in Ann Arbor under the auspices of the HIV/AIDS Resource Center. He died from AIDS-related complications at age 38.
