PJ Two Ravens

November 28, 1965 – August 21, 2022

Dearborn native PJ Redbird Two Ravens of Ypsilanti graduated from the University of Michigan in 1990 and earned an MSW from Eastern Michigan University in 1999.  He worked at U-M as a sleep technician and an HIV/AIDS social worker.  He also formed the group Gender Explorers and volunteered with HARC.  Two Ravens was preceded in death by his fiancé Amy Chesbro and was survived by his partner Jay.

Cynthia Wrentmore

December 5, 1934 – October 28, 2001

A native of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Cynthia Jane (Young) Wrentmore started as a public health nurse with the Washtenaw County Department of Public Health in 1958 and became as its communicable disease coordinator in 1981.  She served on the board for Wellness Networks/Huron Valley, later known as the HIV/AIDS Resource Center, and was a pioneering AIDS educator in the Ann Arbor area.

Cindy Everling

August 18, 1946 – January 14, 2011

Cynthia Susan Everling, known to friends as Cindy, graduated from Pontiac Central High School and studied philosophy at Oakland University, with additional studies at Eastern Michigan University and the University of Michigan.  She was a case manager and grant writer for the HIV/AIDS Resource Center.  Everling resided in Ann Arbor with her partner of 28 years Lin Jacobs.
