February 2, 1968 – January 1, 2022
Damon Michael Williams was born in Flint and graduated with the class of 1986 from Grand Blanc High School. He relocated to Columbus where he attended Ohio State University. At the time of his death, Williams worked as Educational Coordinator for OhioHealth. He was preceded in death by his mother. Survivors included his father, his siblings, and his boyfriend Ricky.
Michigan LGBTQ Remember 
Damon was one of my closest friends, really more like family. We lived together for many years and he quickly became like part of our family. My Mom thought of him as another son. We had so many family dinners together, so many trips, so many wonderful memories. He was an amazing person. He was so full of life, so much fun, so caring and so loving. He was so dearly loved by so many, and is now so very missed. His passing was completely sudden and unexpected. He was certainly gone far too soon. The world is definitely a better place because he was in it. I will love and miss you forever my wonderful friend!
