May 26, 1950 – February 28, 2023

Southfield resident Cindy Beth Clardy moved to Metro Detroit in 1994 for an engineer position with the Ford Motor Company, where she came out and played a leading early role in Ford GLOBE, now known as Ford PRIDE.  She was active in local LGBTQ+ politics, the Senior Koffee Klatch at Affirmations, and the Sirens Motorcycle Club.  Clardy was survived by her children and her beloved wife Jocelyn Walters.

Linda Pierce

September 4, 1965 – January 9, 2023

Originally from Ohio where she attended high school and college, Yolinda Kaye “Linda” Pierce worked as a DJ at WOAP radio in Owosso and was an on-air personality for WWGZ in Lapeer.  She DJ’d, as well, for many local women’s events and was a library administrator at Kettering University.  Pierce shared a home on Flint’s eastside with her loving wife Dee Johnson.
